Lauren Costello
Lauren (she/her) earned her B.A. in Psychology and in Classics from the University of Richmond in 2019. She subsequently held post-baccalaureate research appointments at the Yale Child Study Center, Stanford University, and the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Her research interests focus on the biological and behavioral impacts of early childhood adversity and the intergenerational transmission of stress and trauma, with a particular emphasis on early sensitive periods of development. She is especially interested in identifying pathways that promote resilience.
Outside of the lab, Lauren enjoys reading, exploring new
restaurants, and following Formula 1.
