Alence is an undergraduate research assistant in the REID Lab. As a Psychology major with a minor in Behavioral Neuroscience, she is passionate about psychobiology, neuropsychology and neurology. She studies neonatal neurocritical care, including severe germinal matrix intraventricular hemorrhages (GM/SIVH) in preterm infants, at the Brigham and Women’s NICU in the Department of Newborn Medicine and Pediatrics. After graduation, she plans to work in the industry, gaining more experience before pursuing a Ph.D.
In her free time, Alence enjoys hot yoga, reading, exploring Boston, drinking coffee, and spending time with friends!
