Georgia Celestin

PhD Student

She/Her

Georgia received her B.S. from Yale University in 2022, majoring in a psychology with a focus in neuroscience. She worked in Dr. Dylan Gee’s lab studying the multi dimensionality of exposure to traumatic experiences. After graduating, she spent two years as a Research Assistant on the Healthy Baby Project at Boston Children’s Hospital where she worked with mothers and children up to 7 years of age, exploring how adversity impacts early development. Georgia is interested in continuing to study how early life experiences may affect the developing brain and body and how to foster healthy infant development. She is particularly excited about exploring biological, neural, and environmental pathways using novel and integrated methodological approaches. Outside of the lab, Georgia loves exploring bookstores, trying new recipes, drinking matcha or chai lattes, and reading historical fiction.
