Georgia Celestin Wins APA/APAGS–Psi Chi Junior Scientist Fellowship

We are thrilled to share that REID Lab graduate student, Georgia Celestin, has been awarded the 2025 APA/APAGS–Psi Chi Junior Scientist Fellowship — a prestigious honor recognizing exceptional early-career researchers in psychology and neuroscience.

The Junior Scientist Fellowship, co-sponsored by the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) and Psi Chi, supports students entering the first or second year of their research-oriented graduate programs. The fellowship provides funding to help launch innovative research projects and offers valuable feedback to strengthen future fellowship applications.

Georgia’s selection reflects her outstanding promise as a scientist and her commitment to advancing research at the intersection of stress physiology, nutrition, and neurodevelopment. Her work in the REID Lab contributes to our mission of understanding how early environments shape biological and psychological development.

Congratulations, Georgia — we are so proud of your achievement and can’t wait to see where your research takes you next!
